# Connect to the Passion+ MCP server

Passion+ plans digital advertising campaigns. Its MCP server lets you search the audiences Passion+ can reach, check what inventory can be bought against them, turn a brief into a media plan, and forecast delivery. It is read and planning only: it cannot buy, launch, reserve, or pay for anything.

- Server name: `passion-plus`
- Server URL: `https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp`
- Transport: streamable HTTP
- Authentication: OAuth. The person signs in with Google in their browser the first time. There is no API key: never ask the person for one, and never put a token in a config file.

Do the setup yourself where your environment allows it, using the section for the agent you are. Only the steps marked **(person)** need the human.

## Claude Code

1. Run: `claude mcp add --transport http passion-plus https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp`
2. **(person)** Ask the person to run `/mcp`, choose `passion-plus`, sign in with Google, and click Allow.

## Codex

1. Run: `codex mcp add passion-plus --url https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp`
2. Run: `codex mcp login passion-plus`. It opens a browser. **(person)** Ask the person to sign in with Google and click Allow.

## Cursor

1. Add this entry under `mcpServers` in `~/.cursor/mcp.json`, creating the file if needed and keeping any servers already there:

   ```json
   { "mcpServers": { "passion-plus": { "url": "https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp" } } }
   ```

2. **(person)** Ask the person to open Cursor's MCP settings, sign in to `passion-plus` with Google, and click Allow.

## VS Code (GitHub Copilot)

1. Add this entry under `servers` in the user `mcp.json` (command: "MCP: Open User Configuration"), keeping any servers already there:

   ```json
   { "servers": { "passion-plus": { "type": "http", "url": "https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp" } } }
   ```

2. **(person)** Ask the person to start `passion-plus` from the MCP server list and sign in with Google when prompted.

## Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app) and ChatGPT

You cannot add a connector from inside the chat. **(person)** Ask the person to:

- In Claude: open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste `https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp`, click Add, then Connect and sign in with Google.
- In ChatGPT: turn on developer mode in settings, create a custom connector with `https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp` and OAuth authentication, then sign in with Google.

## Any other MCP client

Add a remote server named `passion-plus` at `https://wiz.passionplusmedia.com/api/partner/mcp` using streamable HTTP. The client discovers the OAuth endpoints on its own; **(person)** the person signs in with Google and clicks Allow.

## Check it works

Once the server is connected, call `search_audiences` with the query "US sneaker buyers aged 18-34" and show the person the three most relevant audiences. If you get `rate_limited`, wait the `retry_after_seconds` it gives before retrying.

## Things to know

- `create_media_plan` can take up to 15 minutes. If it returns `state: "pending"`, poll `get_plan_operation` with the `operation` handle; do not call `create_media_plan` again.
- Each account can create a limited number of plans per day.
- Many figures are modelled rather than measured. Each carries a `basis` field; tell the person which figures are modelled.
